3rd Row: 2 h dc in first st, h dc in each st across, 2 h dc in last St. Ch 2, turn.
4th Row: Repeat 3rd row. Drop Blue, pick up Pink, ch 2, turn.
Work 2 rows of each color, increasing 1 st at both ends of each row until row measures 2 inches across.
Next Row: 2 h dc in first st, h dc in each st across to last 2 sts, dec 1 h dc—to dec an h dc, work off 2 sts as 1; ch 2, turn.
Following row: Dec 1 h dc, in each st across, 2 h dc in last st. Ch 2, turn.
Repeat last 2 rows, keeping continuity of colors, until longer side of hanger cover measures same as hanger.
Now dec 1 h dc at both ends of each row until 5 sts remain. Work off these 5 sts as 1 st. Fasten off.
Draw hook of hanger through center of crocheted piece and sew edges together, thus covering hanger. Make a double bow of ribbon at base of hook. Tack bow to crocheted fabric of hanger.
Cover 3 more hangers in a similar fashion.
