Pink and White Blanket
REQUIRED MATERIALS
AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY “DAWN” or
“CLOVER LEAF” NYLON or
NYLON POMPADOUR or
“DAWN” POMPADOUR or
“DAWN” INFANTS WOOL
9 Balls White and 9 Balls Baby Pink
Plastic Crochet Hook No. 4
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
With White ch 188 (about 30 inches), 3 d c in 4th st from hook, skip 3 sts of ch, 1 s c in next st, * ch 3, 3 d c in same space, skip 3 sts of ch, 1 s c in next st, repeat from * 44 times, cut White, attach Pink, ch 3, turn.
2nd Row. 3 d c in same space with ch 3, skip 3 d c of shell, s c in s c between shells, * ch 3, 3 d c in same space, skip 3 d c of shell, s c in s c between shells, repeat from * 44 times, joining last shell in 3rd st of ch 3, cut Pink, join White, ch 3, turn.
Repeat 2nd row alternating colors 165 times or desired length ending with White row. Fasten all ends.
Border for Pink and White Blanket
With Pink, work a row of s c down long side, working 3 s c in each 2 rows, 3 s c at corner, across short side work 3 s c in each shell and 1 d c between shells, 3 s c at corner, continue in same manner all around keeping work flat.
2nd Row. 1 s c in each s c working 3 s c in center s c at each corner.
Repeat 2nd row twice, cut yarn.
Attach White, work 1 s c in same space, ** skip 2 s c, d c in next s c, * ch 1, d c in same space, repeat from * 3 times (shell), skip 2 s c, 1 s c in next s c, repeat from ** all around, cut yarn.
