Coats – 60 balls of White, Ecru or Cream, or 72 halls of any color or Clark’s O.N.T. – 95 balls of White, Ecru or Cream or 110 balls of any color, or Big Ball: J. & P. Coats – 29 balls of White, Ecru or Cream, or 37 balls of any color

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Crystal Tablecloth – First Motif
Starting at center, ch 15. Join with sl st to form ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3, 31 dc in ring. Join with sl st to top of ch-3.
Rnd 2: Ch 2, half dc in same place as sl st, half dc in each dc around. Join with sl st in top of first half dc.
Rnd 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in each half dc around. Join.
Rnd 4: Ch 3, dc in each dc around. Join.
Rnd 5: Ch 4, tr in same place as sl st, 3 tr in same st, * ch 2, skip 3 dc, 5 tr in next dc. Repeat from * around (16 groups of 5 tr). Join.
Rnd 6: Ch 4, holding back on book the last lp of each tr, make tr in each of next 4 tr, thread over and draw through all lps on hook (cluster made), * ch 6, make 5-tr cluster over 5 tr. Repeat from around. Join to tip of first cluster.
Rnd 7: Ch 4, in tip of same cluster make 4 tr, ch 2, and 5 tr, * ch 5, tr in tip of next cluster, ch 5, in tip of next cluster make 5 tr, ch 2 and 5 tr. Repeat from * around. Join.
Rnd 8: Ch 4, 4-tr cluster over next 4 tr, ch 25, 5-tr cluster over next 5 tr, * ch 13, sc in next tr, ch 13, sc in next ch-2 sp (between 5-tr groups), ch 13, sc in next tr, ch 13, 5-tr cluster over next 5 tr, ch 25 and make 5-tr cluster over next 5 tr. Repeat from * around. Join and break off.
Crystal Tablecloth – Second Motif
Work as for First Motif until 7 rnds are completed.
Rnd 8: Ch 4, 4-tr cluster over next 4 tr, ch 12, sl st in ch-25 lp on First Motif, ch 12, 5-tr cluster over next 5 tr on Second Motif, ch 6, sl st in next lp on First Motif, ch 6, sc in next tr on Second Motif, ch 6, sl st in next lp on First Motif, ch 6, sc between 5-tr groups on Second Motif, ch 6, sl st in next lp on First Motif, ch 6, sc in next tr on Second Motif, ch 6, sl st in next lp on First Motif, ch 6, 5-tr cluster over 5 tr on Second Motif, ch 12, sl st in ch-25 lp of First Motif, 5-tr cluster over next 5 tr on Second Motif. Complete as for First Motif, No more joinings.
Make 14 rows of 19 motifs, joining adjacent sides as Second Motif w-as joined to First Motif (where 4 corners meet, join Third and Fourth Motifs to joining of First and Second Motifs).
Crystal Tablecloth – Edging
Attach thread to any corner lp. In same lp make sc, half dc, 7 dc, ch 4, sl st in 4th ch from hook (picot), 7 dc, picot, 7 dc,.picot, 7 dc, half dc and sc. In each lp around make sc, half dc, 7 dc, picot; 7 dc, half dc and sc, working each corner as previous corner was worked. Join and break off.
