STEP-BY-STEP-INSTRUCTIONS
BACK
Ch 95.
Pattern
Row 1 — 1 sc in 7th st from hook, * ch 2, skip 1 st, 1 dc in next st, ch 2, skip 1, 1 sc in next st; repeat from * to end; 45 m.
Row 2 — Ch 5, turn, 1 sc in first dc, * ch 2, 1 dc in next sc, ch 2, 1 sc in next dc; repeat from *, end last repeat skip 2 sts on turning ch, 1 sc in next st.
Repeat row 2 for pat. Work 5 inches.
SLEEVES
Ch 32, turn, work 14 m on ch as in row 1, work across row; join separate thread in same st with last sc, ch 28, fasten off; work 14 m on ch; 73 m. Work 4 inches even.
NECK AND RIGHT FRONT
Work 29 m for right side. Turn; work 4 rows more on 29 m of right side, end at neck. Ch 20, work 8 m on this ch; 37 m. Work until 8 ins. from beginning of sleeves, end at front edge. Work 5 ins. on 23 m of front. Fasten off.
Join on back neck edge in sc of 15th m from right front, ch 5, continue pat. across 29 m of left side. Work 5 rows more, end at neck; join separate thread in same st with last sc, ch 16, fasten off; work 8 m on this ch.
Finish to correspond to right side. Sew seams.
Picot Edge
Join on sleeve edge at seam, 1 sc in first m, * 1 sc in next m, ch 3, 1 slip st in first ch (a picot), 1 sc in same m, 1 sc in next m; repeat from * around, join. Fasten off.
Join thread on left front edge at corner of neck. Work picot edge on left front, lower edge and right front edge, 1 sc at corner, 2 sc in each m around neck, 1 sc at corner; 84 sc.
Beading
Ch 6, turn, 1 slip st in 3rd st from hook, skip first sc on neck, 1 dc in next sc; * 1 picot, skip 1 sc, 1 dc in next sc; repeat from * to end; 42 m.
Fasten off. Steam lightly. Trim with ribbon.
