3 1/2 oz. Balls Heavy 3-ply Angora Yarn
Size 5 White Crochet Hook
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Ch. 3. Join with a sl st to form a ring. Do not turn.
Row 1 – Work 6 s c in ring.
Row 2 – Work 2 s c in each st.
Row 3 – * Work 1 s c in first st, 2 s c in next st; repeat from * 5 times.
Row 4 – * Work 1 s c in each of first 2 sts, 2 s c in next st; repeat from * 5 times.
Row 5 – * Work 1 s c in each of first 3 sts, 2 s c in next st; repeat from * 5 times.
Continue increasing as given above until there are 9 sts between increases. Ch 1 turn.
Omitting 10 sts for back of neck, work back and forth in s c for 19 rows, being sure to ch 1 at end of each row.
Work 1 row of picot sts across front edge.
Fasten off.
Neckband: Starting at front edge, work 1 row of s c across neck edge, skipping every 3rd st.
Work 3 more rows of s c, st for st.
Fasten off.
