Repeat the last row 3 (1, 4, 4) times, 7 (8, 8, 10) patterns left for back of neck, cut thread.
Crocheted Blouse Pattern – Band
Ch 31, s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in each remaining st of ch, ch 1, turn.
2nd Row – Picking up back loop of sts only, work 1 s c in each s c, ch 1, turn.
Repeat the last row until band measures 12 1/2 (13, 13 1/2, 14) inches, cut thread. Sew to lower edge of back casing in the fullness.
Crocheted Blouse Pattern – Front
Work same as back until 6 rows of sleeves have been completed.
Next Row – Work in pattern until 17 (18, 19, 20) shells are completed, ch 1, d c in center of next shell, ch 1, skip 1 d c of same shell, d c in next d c, ch 4, turn (center of blouse).
Work even in pattern until sleeve measures 7 1/2 inches at cuff edge ending at cuff edge.
Crocheted Blouse Pattern – Shoulder
Next Row – Sl st to center d c of 4th (2nd, 3rd, 3rd) shell, ch 3, work in pattern across row, ch 4, turn.
Next Row – Work in pattern across row having last d c in center d c of 3rd (3rd, 3rd, 3rd) shell from end of row, ch 1, turn.
Next Row – Sl st to center d c of 3rd (3rd, 3rd, 3rd) shell, ch 3 and work in pattern to end of row, ch 4, turn.
Repeat the last 2 rows once, cut thread for size 12 only.
Remaining patterns are for lapel. For sizes 14, 16 and 18: work in pattern across row having last d c in center d c of 3rd shell from end of row. The remainder of patterns are left free for lapel.
Attach thread in same st at center of blouse, ch 4, d c in center d c of 1st shell, work in pattern across row. Finish other half of front to correspond, cut thread.
Sew underarm and shoulder scams to within 1 1/2 inches from cuff edge. Sew remainder of seams on right side for turning of cuff.
Crocheted Blouse Pattern – Collar
With wrong side of work toward you attach thread in 1st mesh at top of lapel, keeping pattern uniform work in pattern across lapel, around back of neck and across other lapel, ch 4, turn.
Work 5 more rows even in pattern, ch 1, turn.
Work a row of s c across back of collar, down front opening of blouse, up opposite side, join, cut thread.
With wrong side toward you work a row of s c around each sleeve.
Press with steam iron or under a damp cloth. Turn up sleeve 1 1/2 inches to form cuff and tack in position.
