My Favorite Crochet Tool...

by Cindy Garlotte

My favorite crochet tool is my very little collection of crochet hooks, especially my size J - it is acrylic, and is great for shawls and afghans.

And, I just so happened to be at my-in-laws, with my husband for Mother's Day and my mother-in-law gave me a granny square that was made by her mother or her grandmother (I can't remember which one). Anyways, she also gave me her mother's crochet hooks and a few balls of old crochet thread, which is also my favorite possession. I have the needles in a plactic zip-lock bag for now along with the thread.

Hopefully, one day I will find a green or gold to finish the granny square for a hot pad for our dinning room table.

Thank you, and may GOD BLESS you!

Preserve the past don't ruin it.

Don't use it for a hot pad. Frame it with an archival rated background so the acid from the background doesn't eat away at the square.
