D M C Cordonnet Special, Article 151: Size 30
Steel Crochet Hook, Size 12

NOTE(s)

tr-Petal - Yo twice, draw up lp in given place, (yo, thru 2) until there are 2 lps left on hook, yo twice, draw up lp in same place, (yo, thru 2) until there are 3 lps on hook, continue twice more until there are 5 lps on hook, then yo, thru all 5 lps on hook.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Ch desired length. Fasten off at end of every row.

Row 1: Dc in first ch, (ch 2, dc in every 3rd ch) across.

Row 2: Dc in first dc, (ch 2, dc in next dc) twice, * 2 dc in sp, dc in dc, (ch 2, dc in next dc) 3 times; repeat from *.

Row 3: Work 2 tr-Petals with ch 5 between in first sp, * ch 9, (2 tr-Petals with ch 5 between) in center sp of 3-sps; repeat from *.

Row 4: * 2 dc worked off as one in 3rd ch of ch-5 between Petals, ch 5. 2 more dc as before in same st, ch 3, 6 dc in 5th ch of ch-9, ch 3; repeat from *.

Row 5: Sc in ch-5 sp, ^ ch 4, * (yo twice, draw up a lp in next dc, yo. thru 2, yo, thru 2) 3 times, yo, thru all 4 lps on hook *, ch 7; repeat between *'s once, ch 4, sc in ch-5 lp, repeat from ^ across.

Row 6: Sc in first sc. * ch 7, (1 dc, ch 5, 1 dc) in 4th ch of ch-7, ch 7, sc in next sc; repeat from *. Row 7: Sc in first sc, * ch 5. sc in next dc, (ch 4, sc in 4th ch) 3 times, sc in next dc, ch 5, sc in next sc; repeat from *.
