REQUIRED MATERIALS
J. & P. Coats or Clark's O.N.T. Best Six Cord Mercerized Crochet, Size 30: Big Ball: J. & P. Coats - 6 Balls of White, Ecru or Cream, or 7 Balls of Any Color Steel Crochet Hook No. 10

The final size of this stardust runner is approximately 14 1/2" x 39 1/2".
Gauge: Each Motif measures 2" from point to point.
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Stardust Runner - First Motif
Starting at center, ch 8. Join with sl st to form ring.
Rnd 1: 16 sc in ring. Join.
Rnd 2: Ch 12, * skip next sc, tr in next sc, ch 8. Repeat from * around. Join to 4th ch of ch-12.
Rnd 3: * In next sp make sc, half dc, dc and 3 tr, ch 5, sl st in last tr made (picot made), in same sp make 3 tr, dc, half dc and sc. Repeat from * around. Join and break off.
Stardust Runner - Second Motif
Work as for First Motif until 2 rnds are completed.
Rnd 3: In next sp make sc, half dc, dc and 3 tr, ch 2, sl st in any picot on First Motif, ch 2, sl st in last tr on Second Motif; in same sp make 3 tr, dc, half dc and sc. Complete rnd as for First Motif, joining next picot as before.
Make 8 rows of 21 Motifs joining adjacent sides as Second Motif was joined to First Motif.
Stardust Runner - Fill-In-Motif
Starting at center, ch 8. Join with sl st to form ring.
Rnd 1: 16 sc in ring. Join.
Rnd 2: Ch 6, sl st in any joining between Motifs, * ch 6, skip 3 sc on Fill-In-Motif, sc in next sc, ch 6, sl st in next joining on Motif. Repeat from * around. Join and break off.
Starch lightly and press.
