Crochet for Charity

by Sarah
(Ohio, USA)

My resolution for 2011 is to make 5 hats for the Bridge and Beyond Project (http://homelessbridge.blogspot.com/).

Bridge and Beyond's mission is to provide crocheted (or knitted) hats, mittens, scarves, slippers, and socks for the homeless people in the central Ohio area.

I can't imagine living outside in this cold weather even with a hat, scarf, and mittens. Without these...

Homeless people sure need our help! That is why my resolution for 2011 is to make 5 hats for the homeless!

Charity

That got me thinking. I want to make granny squares for charity, but never thought I could learn to make stuff as difficult as hats or mittens. Still, they're needed. I'll stick to buying them for now and maybe someday...

(I love it how every resolution here adds something to my own heart).
